Today is Forged Friday at New Species CrossFit. As Americans, it is important to always keep in mind the sacrifices that our U.S. Military and First Responders make to preserve our freedom and safety. Please use today’s training as a symbol of honor for two fallen soldiers;
Army Private First Class Julian L. Colvin and Army Staff Sergeant Richard L. Berry – Died July 22, 2012 while serving during Operation Enduring Freedom. Pfc. Colvin was 21 years of age of Birmingham, AL. Staff Sgt. Berry was 27 years of age of Scottsdale, AZ. These men were assigned to the 508th Special Troops Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.; they died July 22 in Zharay, Afghanistan, of wounds caused by an improvised explosive device during a dismounted patrol.
Please keep them in your heart and on your mind as you give your very best in today’s WOD.
ALWAYS SUPPORT OUR TROOPS AND FIRST RESPONDERS. GOD BLESS AMERICA!
