
Today is Forged Friday at New Species CrossFit and it’s a great day to be an American. As coaches we hope you find this training prescription to be challenging. Challenging in the sense that you take the opportunity to apply your ultimate best in all mental and physical categories of athletic performance. In other words, we have two WODs today that give you the opportunity to go to that “Dark Place”.
The test begins with the physical aspect. Then about the time your muscles become lactic and your lungs expand to full capacity, you’ll be faced with a choice. The choice to work…..or the choice to rest. No matter your choice, it is important that you push some limits today. Go above and beyond normal. We are not here to be normal. We are here to become better movers. A constant evolution toward FIT both physically and mentally. This defines what it is to be a New Species Athlete.
So please take all of these thoughts and process them in your own way.
Above all, remember one thing; TODAY is a tribute to all of our men and women in uniform. To the U.S. Military and First Responders, this is our way to say THANK YOU!
