Today is “FORGED FRIDAY”. On this day the Athletes that pass through our doors will give a “better than best” effort in recognition of those that protect our freedom on earth’s soil, both foreign and domestic. It is with great honor that we pay our deepest respect to Army Pfc. Markie T. Sims – 20 years of age from Citra, Fla., assigned to 38th Engineer Company, 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash.; died Dec. 29 in Panjway District, Afghanistan, of wounds caused by an improvised explosive device.
